Bright Kids Uganda plans to expand its mission to northern Uganda, where it proposes to implement a microloan program for vulnerable women affected by war and gender violence in Barlonyo Village. The program is structured differently than the existing microloan program in Entebbe to meet the unique needs of these women and mitigate the risk associated with lending to the extreme poor. The program has temporarily been funded by ASA Social Fund; however, the proposal has been written for the purpose of seeking external donor support.
